Have you ever been so afraid by the mere thought of doing something that you feel your knees knocking together? What is that one thing (or maybe 2… or 3) that causes you to go into a panic every time you think about it? It has been my experience that it is precisely THAT thing that causes you so much anxiety and fear the thing has the potential of propelling you forward the fastest. And, most of the time, you KNOW that if you could only get yourself to do THAT thing, you would move further and reach levels that you never imagined possible. Still, getting past that initial hurdle can be so difficult that it becomes easier to put it off, buy into the excuses, and convince ourselves that we will get back to it and do it “later.” Is there a way to get past this? Is it possible to do it scared? How can we move from knocking our boots together in fear to kicking butt and doing the thing we’re most scared of doing? That is precisely what we’ll explore in this conversation of Sincerely Speaking.
